La scuola ha istituito per tutto l’anno scolastico, con decorrenza dal primo giorno di scuola fino all’ultimo giorno della sezione estiva, i servizi di pre-scuola e dopo-scuola, a cui possono accedere i bambini di genitori lavoratori.
Il pre-scuola copre l’orario che va dalle 7.30 alle 9.00 e l’accoglienza dei bambini si svolge rigorosamente tra le 7.30 e le 8.30.
Il momento del dopo-scuola inizia alle 15.30 per finire entro le 18.00, con l’uscita dei bambini fissata tra le 16.30 e le 18.00.

Le attività proposte nei due servizi sono numerose: si passa dal gioco libero negli angoli allestiti con materassini, travestimenti, la cucina-gioco, bambole, costruzioni, macchinine, peluches e la lavagna per dipingere, a momenti più strutturati, dove le maestre intrattengono i bambini attraverso la lettura di libri, il racconto di fiabe o l’organizzazione di attività manipolative, pittoriche o grafiche nell’attrezzato angolo delle invenzioni.
Al centro della classe si trovano i tavolini, attorno ai quali i bambini possono sedersi per giocare con i puzzle, i giochi in scatola o per disegnare, colorare o dipingere, nonché per fare la merenda durante il dopo-scuola.
